WHO WE
ARE
CHRIST FOR THE NATIONS MINISTRIES (CNM) is a Christian not for profit,
inter denominational organization engaged in Evangelism, Equipping
Leaders, Believers and Compassion in Rwanda.
Christ for the Nations Ministries started in Rwanda through the Ministry
of Paul Norman Desire.
CNM Desires to see Local Churches engaged in fulfilling the Great
commission as instruments of Reconciliation and Healing to the Nations.
CNM addresses the whole man as demonstrated by the Ministry of our Lord
Jesus Christ by Preaching, Teaching, Healing the sick and assisting the
Poor.

 ABOUT
THE FOUNDER
Paul Norman Desire was born in Uganda. He is Rwandan, married to Asenath
Mutesi with two children Gad and Darlene.
It was during my studies that I received the Lord Jesus Christ in 1984.
I later felt the call of God to ministry and obtained a diploma in
Theology at Glad tidings Bible College. I was ordained by Full Gospel
Mission, and for 1 year pastored a local church, launched evangelistic
mission in different parts and in high institutions of learning. I am an
alumni of Haggai institute.
We have been organizing and speaking both in local and international
crusades, leadership seminars and conferences and youth meetings in
partnership with local churches and ministries..
The major areas of missions have been in rural areas of the country
where there is a hunger and a need for empowerment among Christian
Leaders who need to be encouraged and nourished by the glorious gospel
of our Lord Jesus Christ.

reconciliation, leadership empowerment and healing to the nations

OUR OBJECTIVES
R E A C H
• Reaching the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ as commanded by our
Lord Jesus Christ.
• Equipping Christian leaders and workers, the saints by establishing
schools of Ministry for the work of the ministry and their callings.
.
• Advancing the Kingdom of God by networking with like minded ministers,
both local and international, churches, ministries and organizations
with similar objectives.
• Comforting and supporting the needy (orphans, vulnerable children the
sick and widows through partnership with individuals, churches,
ministries and organizations.
• Healing the pain through the gospel and putting our love into action
through our programs and ministries.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in:
a) The Holy Bible which is the fully and uniquely inspired Word of God,
the only infallible, sufficient and authoritative rule of faith and
practice
.
b) One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and the
Holy Spirit.
c) The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Virgin birth, His vicarious
and atoning death, through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His
ascension, His mediatory intercession and His personal return in power
and glory.
d) The salvation of lost and sinful men through regeneration by the Holy
Spirit. Salvation is by grace through faith.
e) The indwelling of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved
unto resurrection of life and those that are lost unto the resurrection
of damnation.
f The present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling ,the
Christian is enabled to live a godly live .
g) The Spiritual Unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, who
comprise the Church, the Body of Christ. He is the Only Savior of the
World.

OUR CURRENT ACTIVITIES
Proclamation of the Gospel
In co-operation with Local churches, evangelistic missions are organized
and conducted.
Our stratified evangelism is to ensure that all society is reached. In
our gospel meetings we have seen multitudes turning from the Kingdom of
darkness to the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, and lives have been
changed. God demonstrates His saving and redeeming love to His people.
Our focus in Evangelism is in the rural areas. Churches are mobilized
and organize our missions.
Spiritual Renewal and Equipping the Saints / Leaders
Conferences and seminars are organized for pastors, church workers and
Christians for the work of the ministry. We have seen pastors and
leaders from different churches and back grounds come together in
fellowship. Our ministry has by the grace of God mobilized Pastors /
Leaders in leadership conferences / seminars and training. Our
activities in this area have been in Rwanda for the last few years but
recently we have had the opportunity to reach our neighboring countries.
Church leaders from different denominations are mobilized for evangelism
and Leadership principles especially in the rural areas.
Compassion Ministry.
Child Sponsorship program
We feel compelled by the love of God to participate in alleviation of
human suffering by seeking assistance to the needy and orphans in form
of securing school fees and advocacy, we minister to the HIV-AIDS groups
and their children, 90% are women and their children.
Our compassion ministry program me focuses on alleviating human
suffering. We primarily serve the most vulnerable women and children
through schools support, ministering to HIV/AIDS groups; and advocacy of
all types
The Dorcus Women project is meant to empower and share the love of God,
offer services of biblical counseling and to economically empower them
with life skills for widows in their social economical sustainability
this is done through skilled volunteers.
We do advocacy to widows and those infected /affected by HIV/AIDS .
Women groups are empowered with skills on development and capacity
building.

Youth Conferences
Conferences for the youth are focused on impacting students in schools,
colleges and universities. We proclaim a message relevant to their lives
in order to establish a strong nation with a future generation of
leaders.
Since the youth are the most vulnerable or affected by HIV/AIDS today
and the need to restore biblical values we feel obliged to take the
message on Chastity to them.
Literature distribution: Christian literature is distributed to
churches, schools, colleges and Universities. This has helped believes,
students in more understanding of the scriptures and in their Christian
walk by applying biblical principles in their daily lives.

OUR STRATEGIES
a) CREATE partnerships with local /International churches, /
organizations in fulfilling the Great Commission and other related
programs in advancing God’s Kingdom
b) DEVELOP Partnership and Networks with likeminded organizations,
foundations to provide education assistance, health facilities and
income generating projects to orphans, vulnerable children and widows.
c) PRODUCE literature for distribution to churches, schools and outreach
missions
d) ORGANIZE seminars and Conferences for Leaders, believers for
equipping and Youth people to educate the future leaders on the
relevance of the Gospel in their lives.
e) INITIATE Sustainable projects for the needy such as child sponsorship
programs for the orphans and vulnerable street children

PRAY for us and the Work
Our Ministry greatly needs worldwide intercessors to pray for God’s
grace as we minister to His people, for revival, healing and
reconciliation of our Nation and our region, and for the Church of our
Lord Jesus Christ as agents of change and reconciliation.
Evangelism
Short term trainings for young evangelists and PURCHASE the tools for
evangelism.
